Since (completing my questionnaires) my ‘E Moe, Māmā’ child has been waking an hour to an hour and a half earlier than normal. My day starts from 5amish. We sometimes have early starts like this for 1 – 2 weeks at a time every couple of months, including night waking. I think if I had filled out my questionnaire a week later my answers (some) would have been different.
After considering some of the questions, to me it highlighted how much of my emotional/physical behaviour was a direct result of sleep deprivation. I have always been aware of how lack of sleep affects me, but it was recognising the extent.
